Ailsa's Opal and Diamond Ring

Ailsa had inherited some beautiful pieces of jewellery from her mother and wanted to create a bespoke ring that incorporated these precious gems.

We were thrilled to be able to help Ailsa bring her vision to life. We worked closely with her to understand her design preferences and crafted a unique piece that was tailored to her individual taste.

We wanted to ensure that her new ring was both beautiful and meaningful, so it was important to incorporate these precious stones in a way that felt personal to her.

What was particularly difficult in this design was that one of the opals that Ailsa had inherited was chipped, but fortunately we were able to set it in a way that made it look unique and beautiful.

Ailsa's mother, who is in her 80s, is living her best life in Edinburgh. She is always busy meeting friends or playing the African drum. In fact, she has been so busy that she hasn't yet had the chance to see the ring that Ailsa has had made.

We hope that Ailsa's mother will be able to visit soon and see the beautiful ring that we have created for her daughter.

It was an honour to be a part of such a special project and to help Ailsa create a piece of jewellery that will be treasured for years to come.
