Rolex Daytona 116519LN 2022 Watch

Since 1963 the 'Daytona' has been in production with Rolex. However the history goes back a little further to 1955 with the launch of the 6234 model. It was actually not until 1965 the first model was released with it written on the dial and that model could be purchased at a modest $210.00.

It was not always known as a Daytona. In fact, when trying to partner the watch with motorsport Rolex originally named and advertised the watch as: Rolex Le Mans. The watch grew in popularity through the following decades but it was not quite as popular and sought after as it is today.

This example is from 2022 and is finished in 18ct White Gold, with grey baton dial, black ceramic bezel and black rubber strap.

This is a complete set, with box and paperwork dating 2022. The new owner will inherit the remaining warranty with Rolex.
